Truly enjoyed fresh breakfasts, and fairly clean hotel.

The bed was very comfy, and the room itself was comfy. The hotel was beautifully decorated and modern and in a very central location just next door to central Edinburgh and the castle, old centre of the city, and Holyrood Park. Amazingly nice and absolutely kind staff did a great job.

Particularly good and absolutely perfect location, clean hotel in general.

The mattress was uncomfortable, but room size was spacious and clean.

The hotel was clean, the staff were exceptionally kind and very pleasant. I took a large and beautifully designed room with comfortable bed and great view, as for instance. The dining area served a huge variety of meals for breakfast.

Location is a dream, just a short stroll to Grassmarket! Our Standard Studio was spacious and comfy, with a fab little kitchenette for midnight munchies.

Breakfast was a bit of a mixed bag-first day was a feast, but on busier mornings, it was like a fight for the last muffin! A full Scottish would've been a treat but the continental spread was decent enough.

Had a spacious studio room with a fine view of the canal, a pleasant surprise. The communal areas were lively and gave me a nostalgic feel of college days, and the free breakfast met my morning needs perfectly.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but for what you get, it's acceptable.

The location was a major highlight, super close to everything! The breakfast had a lovely variety of choices. Only downside was the noise from the hallways during the night. 😅

The room felt stark and didn't match the inviting look from the photos. Cooking facilities were minimal, with just one saucepan and a single dinner plate-hardly enough for a well-rounded meal. The sink's plug didn't function, and other essentials like hangers, shampoo, or a hairdryer were missing, forcing a bit of shopping just to get by. Cleaning felt more disruptive than helpful, with towels missing and clean glasses tossed into the sink. Breakfast plates often appeared wet, and there were several lapses in food availability, suggesting a need for better staffing or management.

I recently enjoyed my stay and loved having the spacious studio with a small kitchen, perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring. The fluffy sofas and the cozy TV lounge were just what I needed to unwind. Just a heads-up, a bit more toiletries would have been nice since we were there for three nights. 😊

I loved chilling in the gaming room after enjoying a hearty breakfast buffet every morning! The cozy atmosphere made it easy to relax and unwind in their theatre room too. Just a heads up, there was a slight delay with room service on my first day, but it didn’t ruin the overall vibe. 😊
